Our Growing Practices

We are proud to be certified Organic (CCOF) from day one, and have recently become certified by the Real Organic Project. What does this mean?

  • We are conscious of how we use resources, including water, fuel, and packaging.

  • We have installed a hedgerow full of plants that bring in beneficial insects, reptiles, and birds.

  • We don’t use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.

  • We believe in the adage “Care for the soil and it will care for you” - we plant cover crop every winter to build soil organic matter and sequester carbon.

  • These practices are certified by third-party agencies.

  • We are open to the public by appointment for farm tours - check our store to see more!

We support the work of:

Sonoma County Farm Trails,

Community Alliance for Family Farmers,

Farm to Fight Hunger,

and encourage others to learn more about these organizations.
